I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
